The
sky was mostly overcast and for a while it appeared we might miss
seeing any part of the tranist. Then, about a half-hour into the
transit, the Sun broke
through a slight clearing allowing several cloudy looking images to be
taken, including this one. This slight clearing lasted just a few
minutes, but later a much larger clearing appeared and
many good (cloud-free) exposures were taken. |
